Mango Ice Cream Smoothie Bowl Recipe
VEGAN – VEGETARIAN – DAIRY FREE – SOY FREE
Decadent. Delightful. While we don’t recommend an ice cream smoothie bowl for breakfast every day, it can be a delicious way to shake up your smoothie and get a few of your five a day in at the same time!
Making this smoothie from fresh fruit and ice cream is super simple – although we would definitely suggest picking a fruit ice cream with amount of the core ingredient in it, rather than one packed full of artificial flavourings (which can leave it tasting sickly sweet).
You can use fresh or frozen fruit if it’s being blended into the smoothie with the gelato and milk; however, if being used as a topping then fresh fruit is the way to go.

Ingredients
2 scoops Mango Gelato
1 Banana
150ml-200ml Plant Milk
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
Optional toppings
Chia/Flaxseeds
Desiccated Coconut
Halved Strawberries
Chopped Mango
Cacao Nibs
Method
1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl before blending thoroughly.
2. Once blended to a smooth consistency, pour out into a cereal bowl.
3. Chop up any fresh fruit being used as a topping and place on top along with any other toppings being used. Eat immediately.
