5 Ingredient Vegan Salted Caramel Sauce

With only five ingredients you can easily find in your cupboard, you’ll be able to impress friends and family alike by adding that wow factor to your dessert.
We love pairing this super quick and easy sauce with our salty-sweet cinnamon butter pecan gelato, but it could go equally well with other flavours of ice cream, as well as cakes, brownies, or even an apple pie!
TIME: 10 MINUTES
MAKES: 1 CUP OF SAUCE
Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
4 tbsp plant milk
½ cup dairy-free butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch sea salt
Method
1. Mix all the ingredients together (except the vanilla extract) in a saucepan on a medium boil.
2. Boil for 5 minutes until thickened. Remove from the heat and add in the vanilla extract.
3. Once cooled slightly, pour over your ice cream and enjoy!
